Speaker: The President of the British Beekeepers Association, Margaret Murdin, will deliver an illustrated talk on the life and life cycle of the honey bee, their methods of communication and behaviour, why they are so successful as insects and how they differ from bumble bees.

Venue: Ethelburga Community Centre, 60 Worfield Street, Crn Rosenau Road, Battersea, SW11 4RA. Please visit ECC’s website for full details including travel information.

Time: Doors open at 12.15. Lecture from 1.00 pm to 2.00 pm (approx 45 mins with 15 mins Q&A).

Lunch & Refreshments: Sandwiches etc as well as fruit and cakes can be pre-ordered, whilst coffee, tea, wine, lager, soft drinks will be available for a small donation. All may be consumed whilst listening.
