We sincerely hope that the BBQ on 9 June will take place, but are monitoring the news and taking advice. Therefore, we have suspended bookings until the situation is clearer. Please check our website. We will email all Friends once we have a decision, either way.

At this difficult time we are very fortunate to have the Park as a source of recreation, exercise and tranquility. Unlike Hammersmith and Fulham, Wandsworth is currently opting to keep our park open. However, owing to the transmission mechanism of the coronavirus, a number of prudent restrictions and facility closures within the park have been announced and been posted at all gates. - Playgrounds, the Trim trail, lavatories, cafes, food outlets and GoApe have all been closed.

Dear Spring Lecture Friends Due to Government precautions needed to combat coronavirus, we have reluctantly decided to postpone next Monday’s lecture until 22 March 2021. Please let us (i.e. Annabel!) know at membership@friendsofbatterseapark.org if you’d like your payment transferred to the autumn lecture (Monday 9 November - small mammals) transferred to next spring's lecture or refunded.
